Technology meets tomorrow

The high-level goals of this iPhone tab bar application (with 4 tabs) are:

• Provide a Drink Library tab with wide variety of drink recipes that are easy to look up on the phone in a multitude of ways, i.e., view drinks by name, ingredient, category, your favorites, and search.
• Provide the ability to enter new drink recipes onto the phone so that they are put into the drink recipe database properly. For example, upon entering a drink recipe the user should be able to select what category it is so that the drink can not only be looked up by its name, but also by its category such as "tropical drinks".
• A Unit Converter tab converting drink measurements, i.e. from imperial to metric liquid measurements.
• Provide a Bartending Info tab for viewing bartending basics such as types of bartending equipment, glassware, how to stock a bar, and bartending techniques.
• Have a Bar Locator tab that will display a list of locations and will show the user the nearest bars on a map by linking to the iPhone's Google maps app. Also, allow the user to select from a list of major cities in English speaking countries so they can view bars in those cities via the iPhone's Google maps app.
